Music can be said to be a universal means of communication between individuals. Technology has increased the quality of music. However, high-end speakers and headphones are not affordable for all people.

SONY XB700Z

Sony has made some great entry-level headphones and I love them. They’ve already seen the price of a pair of earbuds at less than $100 and for that, you will get a pair of earbuds that can provide strong bass and fit easily into your ears. The WF-XB700 earbuds sound great for the price, are very stable on the connection, and work nicely in the charging case.

RAZER OPUS

For the money, Razer’s new $200 active noise-canceling, Bluetooth wireless headphones come with everything that I want in a set of headphones: comfort, high-quality sound, and good battery life. For instance, the headset can swivel 90 degrees so that it can rest on my chest, then fold up into the included hard case. This headphone could even pause music automatically when you remove it from your ears.

BEATS FLEX

I think the latest Beats headphones really are a very clever idea from Apple’s Beats division. Another reason is that with the iPhone 12 lineup no longer earbuds included, this neckband-style headphone could become popular in place of earbuds. The new air pods from the Beats are significantly less expensive than their predecessors. They have a long battery life, are comfortable to wear, and do not bring with them the fear of loss of truly wireless earbuds.

ONEPLUS BUDS

The aggressively priced $79 OnePlus EarPods have an EarPod-like rigid design that’s all hard plastic — representing a move away from the Bullets, Bullets Wireless 2, and other OnePlus earbuds that used silicone tips for a sealed-off, in-ear fit. To get the most out of the Buds, the owner will have to buy an OnePlus smartphone. If you are not satisfied with the designs of Apple’s AirPods, though the price is very low, it is hard to find another product like this anywhere.

MARSHALL’S EMBERTON

The new $149 Emberton Bluetooth speaker gives the beloved Logitech Ultimate Ears Boom a run for its money. It supports quick, no-fuss charging. As it borrows the joystick-like controls from Marshall’s recent lineup of headphones. Rather than having to learn a few configurations of buttons to play or change the battery, everything is simple here. Companies are moving away from physical buttons in devices to providing digital buttons that are easier to use, locate, and press with a finger.

IKEA’s new speakers

Sonos and Ikea have initiated a five-year partnership starting in 2019. You can now buy the symfonisk table lamp speaker ($179) or symfonisk bookshelf speaker ($99) from your local Ikea or from the home furnishing store’s website. Neither of these devices is available from third-party retailers like Best Buy or even directly from Sonos. Ikea, like Sonos, emphasizes togetherness as shown through the new color and shape of its products.

AMAZON ECHO DOT (2020)

It is no surprise that alongside the redesigned Echo 4th Gen, Amazon has also redesigned the Echo Dot. The new 4th Gen Dot shares the same spherical design with its larger sibling on a smaller scale. The price will begin at $49.99 for the standard model, $59.99 for the colored LED clock, and $59.99 for the Kids Edition.
